OAKS Dental Smile Design
We find a natural balance for an attractive smile. For a beautiful smile it is very important that the midline of the face and teeth is balanced. The distance between the eyes and the position of the nose are keys to a beautiful, attractive smile.
Based on skilled sense and precise diagnosis, OAKS Dental draws out the best results through scientific methods.

Checking tooth shape via face scanner
Laminate places thin ceramic over the tooth. As it is precise work that immediately affects appearance, a diagnostic model is essential; through it, we remove no tooth structure or the minimum. For beauty that considers both esthetics and alignment, consultation with an OAKS Dental expert who truly understands beauty is essential.
Smile Line Design
Beauty is decided by very subtle differences. Even if others can hardly tell, the human eye distinguishes beauty by tiny differences, so with mock-ups and smile-line checks we pursue both precision and beauty tuned to the human eye.
Mock-up via Face Scanner
After making a mock-up for the smile-line design and grasping the form, we precisely remove only the necessary range to minimize tooth damage.
We remove only the minimum when necessary. When truly required through the mock-up process and diagnosis, we use a guide and dental microscope to remove only minimal tooth structure.
Because precise work of about 0.1–1 mm is performed, the level of equipment determines the quality of treatment.
Made in-house at the Dental LAB
To accurately assess the oral condition and achieve precise fabrication, we use computer software simulation and precision machining. Because it is processed directly at our in-house lab within the clinic, fast fabrication and application are possible.
At our in-house lab we use face and intraoral scanners to preview the post-treatment tooth design, and proceed only after thorough confirmation.
- Digital Body Scan
- inLAB MC XL
- Precise Laminate Fabrication
Using 3D equipment we complete most cases within a day, and remove only the necessary areas precisely under a microscope to minimize damage to natural teeth.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about Laminate
How long do laminates last?
With proper care they can usually last 10+ years; regular check-ups and good hygiene determine their lifespan.
How do laminates differ from crowns?
Laminate thinly covers only the front of the tooth, while a crown wraps the whole tooth. Laminate, with less reduction, is mainly used to improve the esthetics of front teeth.
Do many teeth have to be shaved?
OAKS Dental proceeds in a way that minimizes tooth reduction, and in some cases works close to no reduction.
Are there food restrictions after laminate?
Right after bonding you should be careful with hard or tough foods; after adjusting, a normal diet is possible.
How long does treatment take?
After precise diagnosis it usually takes 2–3 visits, and our in-house lab system can shorten the period.
